I was hesitant to read Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir for months, but after seeing positive reviews and recommendations from friends, I finally decided to give it a try. To my surprise, I found it to be a fun and science-heavy novel, unlike his previous book Artemis which bored and annoyed me. The story follows Ryland Grace, who wakes up on a spaceship with no memory of who he is or how he got there, and quickly discovers that he is humanity’s last hope for survival. The stakes in the novel are high, and the science drama is juxtaposed with a witty and relatable narrative voice. While the middle of the book seemed to drag on and I saw the twist coming, the later chapters were strong and bittersweet. Overall, I enjoyed the adventure and mystery, and found it to be a worthy successor to The Martian.

En general, disfruté la aventura y el misterio, y descubrí que es un digno sucesor de The Martian.
