I Care a Lot starts off with a promising premise and an impressive cast, but fails to deliver with a messy narrative and uneven tones. Rosamund Pike is strong as Marla, but her character is confusing in terms of portrayal. Peter Dinklage and Eiza González offer strong supporting performances, but the movie still feels empty and hollow overall. With a runtime of nearly two hours, it’s also fifteen minutes too long, making it feel stretched and unfulfilling in the end. Despite its potential, I Care a Lot ultimately leaves something to be desired.

I Care a Lot comienza con una premisa prometedora y un elenco impresionante, pero no cumple con una narrativa desordenada y tonos desiguales. Rosamund Pike es fuerte como Marla, pero su personaje es confuso en términos de representación. Peter Dinklage y Eiza González ofrecen sólidas actuaciones de apoyo, pero la película aún se siente vacía y hueca en general. Con un tiempo de ejecución de casi dos horas, también son quince minutos demasiado largos, lo que hace que se sienta estirado e insatisfactorio al final. A pesar de su potencial, I Care a Lot finalmente deja mucho que desear.
